'Sofia Echo' reports that 337 MEPs drafted a strongly worded resolution that condemns France for the deportation of Roma and calls on greater action for the integration of Roma into communities. The resolution was passed. Meanwhile two French Ministers are in Bucharest to discuss an emergency plan regarding the integration of Roma in Romania. More

European Commissioner for Education reports that in September the Commission will adopt an initiative that aims to promote the mobility of students and trainees to improve the employment situation of young people. The program called 'Youth on the Move' will encourage Member States to work together to improve education and training and access to labour markets. More
