Bulgaria Sofia's street children strategy

‘Sofia Echo’ reports that the new mayor of the capital of Bulgaria has finally taken on the issue of child beggars and after the adoption of a strategy on social services, the children will be ‘counted’ by mobile teams and their cases will be taken up by social workers. Each case will be dealt with individually and the children will be taken into charge if no family is available.
