‘BBC’ made a long report of the Cesmin Lug refugee camp in Northern Kosovo, which was built dangerously close to a lead mine, poisoning the children in the refugee camp. These camps were built as temporary measures but are operational since 1999. According to the article, 77 people have died in Cesmin Lug through complications from lead poisoning and it mostly affects children. The head of the WHO office in Belgrade is quoted saying this is the worst ever lead poisoning in Europe.
