‘The Malta Independent Online’ reports that Estonia’s Parliament passed legislation banning human trafficking, thus making the Baltic nation the last EU country to enact such a law.The measure, fast-tracked by Estonia’s Justice Ministry, makes human trafficking punishable by a maximum 15-years in prison. It also criminalises sexual exploitation, including forcing minors to work as prostitutes or appear in pornographic films and erotic performances.
