UK 60 sex offences against children a day - NSPCC

• ‘BBC’ reports that last year 21,000 sex offences were recorded against children, the equivalent of 60 per day. The figures were obtained by NSPCC based on the freedom of information request to 43 police offices in England and Wales. Girls were six times more likely to be victims than boys and incidents where the offender knew the victim was four times higher than those involving strangers.
